Tatsulok by Bamboo

This famous OPM song entitled “Tatsulok” which is composed by Bamboo. This is very significant especially to our government and its people. In the line “Hangga’t sila ang nasa tuktok hindi matatapos itong gulo” means that it portrays the social injustices happening in our country. It’s sad to see how those who are in power and those who are wealthy manage to pay their way out of crimes and in the line and the meaning of “tatsulok” refers to the hierarchy of our country, where the rich and powerful are at the top while those who struggle with poverty are at the bottom, doomed to be treated like insignificant beings unless they have money. They are at risk of being wrongfully blamed for a terrible crime, they are killed simply because their lives are deemed worthless by those at the top of the triangle and they get caught right smack in the middle of fights and the innocent end up as collateral damage. – Dale Flores from Youtube

This song is really an eye-opener to all of us especially those who are experiencing poverty and to the people in the government. “Hindi pula’t dilaw tunay na mga kalaban, ng kulay at tatak ang di siyang dahilan” this line means that, the flag of our country is not the reason why are the government are like this “hangga’t marami ang lugmok sa kahirapan at ang hustisya ay para lang sa mayaman” if you read between the lines, it says their that the rich people and the wealthy ones have the rights and the privileges. And if you are poor and experiencing poverty you should’ve stayed there. “habang may tatsulok at sila ang nasa tuktok di matatapos itong gulo” It says their that if the powerful ones and have the authority are still at the top, unending crimes and corruption are still circulating. The will still rule the country their own and wrong way. If no one would speak and stand up for what is right there is no change will happen in our country. “Totoy kumilos ka, baliktarin ang tatsulok” I think “Totoy” refers to the people who have no power and authority, the poor and needy. That the people should speak up and stand for their own rights and they too must experience the privilege and they too must be on top and it must be fair to everyone that the gap between the rich and the poor people should be erased and be gone permanently. And the government should do their right job to serve the country the right and proper way.

I have here below 10 Filipino Uncommon Words that are forgotten
